None of the information supplied will be posted or passed on to third parties or used in any way except to contact you with regard to club business
We have only one rule "You must own a Triumph R111" or be in the process of purchasing one
Access to the forum is for all Rocket Owners who wish to contribute to the good of all you simply need to register, we will need your full name and a location before accepting you onto the forum.
As from January 2008 Forum only access has been limited to those members wishing only to drop in for a chat, new member sign ups will be given access to the area reps areas to give a feel for what is going on in a particular area
"FIRST TIMERS " will be given a period of 4 weeks to view these areas before being placed into a forum limited access group, this being the fair course of action to give added value to those club members wanting to take part in club activities etc
Accounts that are inactive for a period of 6 months will be deleted this to allow us to keep the forum tidy, however there will be no restriction on re applying for membership to the forum
Details on how to become a full member of the R3OC...
Membership is currently set at £15 per year single or £20 per year joint payable in January or july of each year, plus a one off £5 payment in the first year to cover membership card(and future cards), club patch etc
Membership now also includes affiliation to the bmf and an affiliation card with the bmf discount code will be sent out with your membership card (even better value)
For those joining after July the membership will run until the following July this giving us 2 membership renewal periods, a photograph is required (for the card) and can be e mailed or if this is not possible a passport sized photograph will be required (the dealers are requesting this)
Life membership(for as long as you own a rocket ) is also available at a cost of £100 single ...£150 joint
Payment may be sent either by cash, cheque or pay pal however pay pal does attract a 5% charge
With the ever increasing amount of dealers now offering discount to full club members the membership fee can often be saved with the first purchase, club regalia will be available to members at a discounted price
The club is of course in its infancy, however many highly successful meetings have already taken Place, every one is encouraged to join in and take part
An area does exist on the forum for none club members of course, however not all the information available can be accessed freely (for example a downloadable workshop manual can be found in the members area) also within the paid/club member area there is a technical and mods section ,and links to dealers who offer discounts to card carrying members ,an items for sale/wanted area
Also within the club area is the pillion parlour a space for those long suffering pillion members
We are all from many varied and different backgrounds and professions but when we are together on the Rocket we are all on the same level and it is this level which the club is based. Pillions are always welcome and catered for.What do you get from your membership? Well simply put you get out what you put in.
Social - The club organises several weekend meets which are growing in popularity (So you need to book early) these are located in the North, South and Mid England to ensure everyone has the opportunity to make at least one, though be prepared to come to them all because once you have sampled one you will be addicted to the company. Individual members organise day rides in their local areas through the forum and all are welcome to join in, these are usually ad-hoc but still a good opportunity to get out for a ride with other Rockets. In every case both Solo Riders and Riders with Pillions are made welcome.There is of course also our main club event THE NATIONAL ROCKET RUN normally held in conjunction with the riders association of triumph please take time to check out the forum for the location of this years run
Regalia - is produced with the club logo on, Badges, Hoodys, T-shirts etc and it is intended to produce limited edition T-Shirts for the 4 club weekenders.Group buys - discounts can be negotiated through group buys which can be organised through the clubDiscounts - The membership enjoy many discounts with dealers and apparel merchants on production of a membership card many dealers have extended a 10% discount on products and services.
Technical Info - Got a problem, or just want guidance on how to do something? Use the forum usually someone has already done it or there will be a few wanting to and you can work together from other peoples mistakes MODs - got an idea of a MOD for the rocket? We have members who are pretty ingenious and can fabricate certain items, which might be of use to us all, or collectively we can approach a fabricator with our ideas.
